ALIS is startup located in Tokyo, Japan. Our goal is to create a platform (ALIS) where people can find trustworthy information and connect with others easily, something that is becoming more and more difficult nowadays, especially in Japan. The average Japanese person has very poor English proficiency. This means that the average Japanese can simply not understand English online content, of which the quality is much higher.
The reason for the low quality of Japanese online content is the result of profit driven corporations monopolizing the first page of Google search results. This has as a consequence that most information found online in Japan is filled with ads, product placement and even fake information. A good real-world example of this can be read here (https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/04/05/national/science-health/comes-health-info-online-fake-news-can-serious-repercussions/#.XKWIx5gzaUk).
ALIS will solve this problem by giving the people back the power over deciding what information is trustworthy and making it easier for content creators to get noticed. In addition, both the content creator and the content curator get rewarded with ALIS tokens, which functions as a trust indicator.
This means that on ALIS, not only is the quality of content visible, the trustworthiness of people is as well. We want to give meaning to this by providing users with tools to connect with others. This could mean making new friends, finding business partners, but also individual service providers connecting with potential customers.

More About ALIS
ALIS is one of the most famous projects in Japan. It may not be well known because of the small amount of information in English, but many Japanese mass media take up them.
ALIS shares the project's progress on Twitter every day and opens development tasks on Github. I like that.
And what I like most is the ALIS community. ALISISTA is actively carrying out projects to boost ALIS.
ALIS is not listed in good Exchange because Japanese regulations are strict. That is the reason for minus 1 point. However, since ALIS is in the best position in Japan now, the possibility of being listed is very high if the regulation is finalized.
